Being part of the solution... (one tote bag at a time)

Every day it feels like the world is more and more upside down.  It’s in times like these that our planet is urging us to redefine our reality. We have to rethink our lifestyles (from the way we recycle to the way we shop).  Now more than ever, we must make conscious choices for the good of the Earth and our communities.  At Valija we’re all for it; but this time, let’s do it together!  That's why we are introducing some of our initiatives in the matter.  In the hopes, that they will inspire our #ValijaGirls to be part of a real and sustainable change.  You don’t have to start big; you just have to start.

On this Earth Day, we're starting off with a tote bag (yes, it's that simple). 

The Solution Bag

If tote bags ever had a ‘moment’ it’s right now! They are the trusty sidekicks that help us carry all our essentials to take on the day. And let’s face it, they make you look pretty cool.  We wanted to bring to you our very own version of that 'everyday tote bag'.  But because one of the main issues retailers face is the use of plastic bags at checkout (a.k.a. one of our planets biggest enemies); we wanted to go beyond a handy bag.  We thought about conscious practicality.  That is why we present to you the Solution Bag.  The multi-use alternative to plastic shopping bags.
